OPERATING

The telescopic wand has an adjustable angle fitting at the end. This should be adjusted to a position where it locates onto theblind operating handle at 90° to the roof angle.Locate the wand onto the handle, the handle will need to beangled towards the right. Now rotate the wand down to avertical position, the wand should now be ‘locked’onto thehandle. Keeping the wand at an angle that holds the movingrail perpendicular to the roof angle, the blind can be pushed inthe desired direction. To unlock the wand, angle the wand back to the right, whichshould allow it to be removed from the handle.

Tensioning the blind support cables

a) The main tension cable can now be tensioned.
On top of thefabric base rail is a clear plastic slider. This should be slidacross the rail until the main support cables are tensioned. This may be assisted by taking the weight of the fabric, whilstsliding the tensioner across. Repeat for any further tensionerson your blind. (There will be 1 tensioner for every 2 cables).

b) The side fabric support cables can now be attached.
Thecables must run perpendicular to the base rail to ensuresmooth operation. Mark the position where the cables meetthe side glazing bars. The cables are then attached using theside tension cable fixings supplied. (Usually one if side fixingwithin a recess, or several built up into a post if face fixing).
