Wood Venetian Blinds - How to measure

• Decide the fixing position of the blinds, within the recess or outside the recess
  
  
• Check for any obstructions in the fitting area - window catches, electrical sockets, tiles and telephone sockets
  
  
• A 12mm allowance will be made on recess size widths
  
  
• Always measure using a steel tape measure
  
  
• Measure recess width x drop in several places, always give narrowest measurements
  
  
• If fixing outside the recess we recommend an overall overlap of 70mm
  
  
• State all sizes at the nearest millimetre.
